Riyadh’s National Water Co. Launches $149.56 Million Project in Qassim Region

In a bid to enhance water and environmental services in the Qassim region, the National Water Co. has kicked off the implementation of 14 projects with a whopping cost exceeding SR561 million ($149.56 million).

The goal of these projects is to boost coverage rates, enhance service quality, and cater to the increasing demand for water and environmental services.

Among the environmental projects being rolled out in the region are seven initiatives valued at approximately SR283 million. These projects include the installation of sewage lines and networks spanning 329,000 linear meters, as well as the construction of a lifting station with a capacity of 1,350 cubic meters per day.

On the water front, seven projects are currently underway in Qassim with a total value surpassing SR278 million. These projects involve extensions of network and lines totaling 833,000 linear meters, along with the implementation of the waterway system for the Al-Mukharram and Umm Hazm wells.
