Weather Warnings Issued Across Saudi Arabia
The General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued weather warnings for several regions across Saudi Arabia, urging the public to exercise caution over the coming days.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, thunderstorms are expected from Thursday to Monday, with moderate to heavy rain, hail, and high winds forecasted for various areas.
In the Makkah region, including the Holy Capital, Al-Jumum, Taif, and more, residents can expect torrential rain and strong winds. Similar weather conditions are expected in the Riyadh region, affecting areas such as the capital, Diriyah, and Al-Kharj.
Other regions like Jazan, Asir, Madinah, and the Eastern Province will also experience heavy rainfall and high winds. Some parts of Makkah region, Jeddah, and Rabigh may see moderate rainfall leading to torrential rain and hail.
In Jazan, Najran, and the Eastern Province, light to medium rain and active downward winds that raise dust are expected. The public is advised to stay away from flood-prone areas and follow instructions from the authorities through traditional and social media channels to ensure their safety.
