Mohamed Khalifa Al-Mubarak Honored with French Legion of Honour
In a momentous occasion, Mohamed Khalifa Al-Mubarak, the chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, was presented with the prestigious French Legion of Honour.
The ceremony took place at the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi, adding to the grandeur of the event.
The Legion of Honour, a symbol of utmost respect and recognition in France, was handed over to Al-Mubarak by Rachida Dati, the Minister of Culture for France, representing President Emmanuel Macron.
This prestigious honor has previously been awarded to other prominent Emirati figures, including Noura Al Kaabi and Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, further solidifying the strong ties between the UAE and France.
