Discover 50+ Exciting Leisure Activities with Red Sea Global – Exclusive Insider Reveals All!

Redefining Leisure in the Red Sea and AMAALA

In a surprising twist, the Red Sea and AMAALA destinations are proving that there’s more to leisure activities than just water sports. Oliver Wood, the senior director of Destination Development at Red Sea Global, revealed that these locations offer a plethora of exciting land-based options for visitors.

Diverse Activities for Every Visitor

Wood shared that the destination currently boasts over 50 activities for visitors to enjoy. Last year, RSG introduced three new business entities – Galaxea, WAMA, and Akun. Galaxea focuses on diving experiences, while WAMA and Akun cater to water activities and adventure sports, respectively.

The Essence of Land and Sea

Wood explained the significance of these businesses in showcasing the varied experiences available beyond just water sports. He emphasized the rich history of the region, with activities such as biking, hiking, and the introduction of electric fat bikes for visitors to explore the stunning landscapes.

Promoting Water Sports in the Kingdom

Wood commended the efforts of the Saudi Sailing Federation and the Saudi Water Sports and Diving Federation for their contributions to promoting water sports in the Kingdom. The collaboration aims to engage more Saudis and tourists in water-based activities.

Thrilling Water Adventures

One of the major highlights in the destination is the availability of e-foils, electrified surfboards that offer a unique and exhilarating experience. Visitors can kayak through mangroves, explore well-preserved reefs, and interact with marine life while enjoying the beauty of the Red Sea.

Preserving Nature’s Wonders

Wood highlighted the importance of brands like Galaxea and Corallium in educating visitors about the beauty and value of nature. Corallium, a marine life institute, will provide insights into protecting water ecosystems and offer interactive experiences for guests.

A Vision for Inclusive Luxury

Wood hinted at RSG’s plans to cater to a diverse range of travelers, from luxury seekers to those looking for more affordable options. The goal is to make the Red Sea and AMAALA destinations accessible to everyone and create a memorable experience for all visitors.
