Al-Baha Municipality Prepares for School Holiday Season with Extensive Recreational Facilities
In anticipation of the upcoming school holiday season, Saudi authorities in Al-Baha have announced comprehensive preparations for public recreational facilities.
The Al-Baha municipality has meticulously readied 142 parks and recreational areas, in addition to municipal squares, public spaces, and streets, all geared towards welcoming visitors and tourists.
According to regional secretary, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Sawat, these facilities cover an impressive area of more than 4,188,559.98 million square meters. They boast amenities such as children’s playgrounds, lush green spaces, shade structures, well-lit areas, well-maintained sidewalks, comfortable seating spots, ample parking, and facilities for activities like walking and cycling.
Eastern Region Municipality Completes Preparations for Outdoor Activities
At the same time, the Eastern Region Municipality has finalized the preparation of 979 parks, public squares, 18 public recreational parks, 14 waterfront areas, and 213 walking tracks.
These facilities come at a perfect time as the moderate weather conditions and school breaks draw more people towards outdoor activities.
The municipality has stressed its dedication to the regular maintenance of these facilities, recognizing them as crucial breathing spaces for citizens and residents alike.
