Rare Collection of Saudi Heritage Artifacts on Display in Tabuk Province

In a stunning display of dedication to preserving Saudi Arabia’s rich history, a resident of the northwestern Tabuk province has opened his private museum to the public. Ode bin Afanan Al-Sulaimi Al-Atwi’s “Hasmaa Museum” showcases a treasure trove of artifacts dating back centuries, offering visitors a glimpse into the Kingdom’s culture and civilizations.

A Passion Turned Museum

Al-Atwi’s love for collecting rare items as a hobby over the past 25 years has led to the creation of this remarkable museum. With over 10,000 heritage pieces spanning an impressive 2,200 square meters, the museum houses ancient garments, coins, weapons, early technological devices, automobiles, and a myriad of items from different eras.

Unveiling Saudi Arabia’s History

The museum provides a visual journey through the evolution of the Kingdom, with exhibits showcasing the development of various government sectors alongside captivating photographs and artifacts. Al-Atwi’s dedication to sharing Saudi Arabia’s human history with a wider audience has garnered support from the Kingdom’s Museum Commission, enabling the realization of his dream museum.
