XP DAY and XP NITE: A Dynamic Music Experience
The 3-day event, running until December 7, offers unique “DAY” and “NITE” programming. XP DAY provides daytime activities like workshops, panel discussions, and sessions led by a diverse group of speakers.
XP NITE is an evening activation where regional event organizers, promoters, and record labels showcase their talent on JAX’s multiple stages, featuring a vibrant mix of music genres.
Collaboration with Nigerian Artists Brings Afrobeats Flavors
Bader Assery, senior project manager at MDLBEAST, shared that the event has partnered with Nigerian artists, infusing the region with exciting Afrobeats sounds.
“We aim to keep things fresh and innovative each year. This time, we are focusing on collaborations with musicians from Nigeria to bring a new experience to our audience,” Assery added.
Artistic Fusion and Cultural Diversity Take the Stage
Nigerian artists showcased a blend of Afrobeats, R&B, hip-hop, and electronic music, adding their unique touch to the soundscape, according to Assery.
Writer and musician Heba Hussein, also known as Kayan, expressed her excitement about exploring a new culture at XP and diving into the Saudi music scene.
Kayan, who is known for her fusion of Arabic poetry with jazz and neo-soul, is eagerly anticipating her performance, confident in the impact she will make on the music industry.
