Riyadh Women’s Economic Forum Inaugurated by Eastern Province Governor

On Tuesday, Prince Saud bin Naif of the Eastern Province inaugurated the Women’s Economic Forum in Dammam, organized by the Asharqia Chamber through its Women’s Empowerment Center. The event boasts a diverse array of experts, officials, academics, and professionals, all gathering to shed light on the women’s business sector.

Prince Saud underscored the Saudi leadership’s unwavering dedication to empowering women across various sectors, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency. He stressed the critical role of economic programs tailored to elevate women’s contributions to the national economy.

Badr Al-Rizaiza, the chamber’s chairman, provided the governor with an overview of the forum’s objectives and the key initiatives aimed at bolstering Saudi women’s empowerment.

Empowering Saudi Women under Vision 2030

The forum delved into four sessions exploring the evolving role of Saudi women within the framework of Vision 2030. Topics ranged from women’s vital contributions to achieving Vision 2030’s objectives, to opportunities within the entrepreneurship landscape, strategies for sustainable businesses, and the pivotal role of training in preparing women for leadership positions.

Workshops to Focus on Key Areas

Tomorrow, the forum will host four workshops concentrating on crucial areas such as the Dhahran Techno Valley system and its support for entrepreneurship, along with tourism entrepreneurship. Additionally, the workshops will delve into fostering workplace diversity and inclusivity, as well as the importance of creative leadership in navigating today’s dynamic business environment.
