Riyadh’s King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex Welcomes Over One Million Visitors

In a report by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday, it was revealed that over one million people made their way to the King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex in Madinah during the last Islamic year.

Between July 19, 2023, and July 6, 2024, a total of 1,019,494 visitors from various nationalities, including Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and tourists, explored the complex.

During their visit, guests were able to witness firsthand the intricate stages involved in printing the holy Qur’an at the facility, which churns out an impressive 20 million copies annually.

Not only does the complex cater to Arabic-speaking audiences, but it also boasts translations of the holy book in 76 different languages. Additionally, special applications have been developed to allow Muslims to read the Qur’an and listen to recitations from diverse countries right on their smartphones.

Furthermore, the complex has made strides in accessibility by producing audio versions of the Qur’an for individuals with hearing and visual impairments.
