Saudi Heritage Shines in China

Diriyah Company is taking the beauty of Saudi heritage and culture all the way to a Chinese UNESCO World Heritage Site. Their stand at the Visit Saudi pavilion in Tiantan Park, Beijing, is attracting a global audience at the Saudi Travel Expo.

Led by Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the promotional campaign in China aims to showcase authentic Saudi values of hospitality and introduce Chinese tourists to the Kingdom’s diverse tourism destinations.

In a social media post, Al-Khateeb emphasized the strong connection between Saudi and Chinese cultures, highlighting shared values of family, tradition, and hospitality. This bond is at the core of the relationship between the two nations.

At the Diriyah pavilion, visitors are treated to immersive experiences that embody the true essence of Saudi Arabia. From traditional Saudi coffee and dates to donning traditional clothing for photos against a Diriyah backdrop, the hospitality is palpable.

Artistic activities using clay and exploring Arabic calligraphy are also on offer, all accompanied by the enchanting melodies of the oud musical instrument, creating an atmosphere rich in authentic Saudi heritage.

The Saudi Travel Expo runs until Oct. 26, aiming to raise awareness of Saudi Arabia’s tourist and historic destinations, as well as its vibrant culture. The event showcases the Kingdom’s cultural diversity and historical significance.

Visitors can take advantage of enticing travel packages to explore Saudi Arabia’s most significant historic attractions, including Diriyah, and indulge in other delights the Kingdom has to offer.
