Saudi Aid Agency, KSrelief, Steps Up to Provide Food Aid in Yemen, Sudan, and Lebanon

In a heartwarming display of generosity and compassion, the Saudi aid agency, KSrelief, has taken action to secure food aid for vulnerable individuals and families facing crises in Yemen, Sudan, and Lebanon. According to reports from the state news agency SPA, KSrelief has been making significant strides in providing much-needed assistance to those in need.

Yemen: A Beacon of Hope

In Yemen, KSrelief has distributed 1,795 food parcels to the neediest families in various governorates as part of the 2024 Yemen Food Assistance Distribution Project. This initiative has already benefited 12,565 individuals, with beneficiaries in Al-Jawf governorate receiving 2,539 food baskets. The ongoing efforts in Yemen are aligned with Saudi Arabia’s larger objective of providing food aid to 253,659 people in need across nine governorates this year.

Lebanon: Spreading Joy Through Bread

KSrelief has also been actively involved in the Al-Amal Charitable Bakery project in Akkar Governorate and Al-Minieh District, North of Lebanon. In its fifth phase, the project successfully distributed 25,000 bags of bread between July 25 and 31 to needy Syrians, Palestinians, and Lebanese individuals, benefiting a total of 12,500 families.

Sudan: Providing Shelter and Care

In Sudan, KSrelief has demonstrated its commitment to helping displaced families by distributing 1,256 shelter and personal care kits. This initiative, part of the Emergency Shelter Assistance Project for the Republic of Sudan, has benefited 3,611 individuals in need. KSrelief’s efforts in Sudan are a testament to the agency’s dedication to making a positive impact in communities facing adversity.
