In a recent interview with the Saudi Press Agency, equestrian Arwa Al-Talbi shared her inspiring journey into the world of horses.

“My relationship with horses began five years ago when I discovered the profound psychological philosophy of equestrianism, which motivated me to learn how to ride,” Al-Talbi expressed.

She emphasized that equestrianism goes beyond physical activity, encompassing spiritual and mental connections that date back to ancient times.

Thanks to the support of God and the wise leadership, Al-Talbi’s love for horses and riding skills have propelled her to become a successful show jumper and free rider.

Empowering Women in Equestrianism

Nasser Al-Nasser, a stable owner in Tabuk, noted the increasing interest in equestrian sports among women in the region, leading him to open a dedicated track for women with a focus on show jumping.

Equestrianism is not just a traditional sport in Saudi culture but also a modern activity that symbolizes courage, pride, and authenticity, empowering both young men and women.

The sport of preliminary tent pegging is gaining traction in Tabuk, with the Saudi Equestrian Federation organizing a foundation training course at Al-Thunayanh stable.

The course aims to promote tent pegging in Saudi society and encourage enthusiasts to participate, regardless of gender, through theoretical education and practical training techniques.

Upon completion of the training, participants will receive certificates from the federation in collaboration with the Leaders Development Institute.
