Witnessing the seamless operations at the Madinah station, the Saudi Press Agency reported on the punctual arrivals and departures of trains carrying a multitude of pilgrims, Umrah performers, citizens, and residents.
The train operates with precision and simplicity, offering a user-friendly experience for passengers. At the station, travelers can easily verify their reservations, proceed to the departure hall, and board the train, which boasts 13 rail cars with ample seating and a dedicated car for food and beverages.
Feedback from passengers like Yahya Al-Sharqawi from Egypt highlights the satisfaction with the ease and safety of the journey, especially the convenience of traveling directly from Jeddah airport to Madinah. The Kingdom’s commitment to facilitating pilgrims’ movement is commendable.
Anwar Badr, another Egyptian visitor, praised the abundance of transportation options available and the seamless access to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, expressing gratitude for the exceptional services provided to pilgrims.

The Madinah station is equipped with various amenities to cater to travelers’ needs, including parking below the station, self-service kiosks for reservations and ticketing, information and assistance offices, multiple arrival and departure halls, and retail outlets offering food and beverages, housing, and car rental services. Additionally, a permanent health center provides on-site medical care.
With an operational plan that includes over 3,800 trips and more than 1.6 million seats to serve pilgrims and visitors in Madinah during the Hajj season, the Haramain High Speed Railway plays a vital role in the transportation system.
