Riyadh Hosts Hawi Baloot Tournament to Promote Hobby Sector
Riyadh is gearing up for the exciting Hawi Baloot Tournament, part of the National Portal for Hobbies and the Quality of Life Program, taking place on Nov. 14-15.
This tournament is not just about playing cards, it’s about encouraging individuals to follow their passions and contribute to the ambitious goals set by Saudi Vision 2030 in the hobby sector.
Details of the Tournament
The tournament will be held at King Saud University, and those interested can easily register through the Hawi app.
Open to all Baloot enthusiasts in Riyadh, the tournament will follow the Swiss system format, consisting of five rounds of intense gameplay. The top four teams will then qualify for the knockout stage to battle it out for the top prizes.
With a total prize pool of SR20,000 ($5,300), participants are reminded to uphold public morals, including the dress code.

Hawi has successfully organized various tournaments throughout the Kingdom, with a recent event in Makkah drawing attention. More tournaments are on the horizon, encouraging people of all ages to get involved in hobbies, particularly Baloot, and fostering a sense of friendly competition within society.
