Elyanna to Release Debut Album “Woledto” on April 12
Elyanna, the Chilean Palestinian singer, made a big announcement on Instagram this week revealing that her first-ever album titled “Woledto” (“I Am Born”) will be dropping on April 12.
The album will consist of nine songs, including “Woledto,” “Ganeni,” “Calling U,” “Al Sham,” “Mama Eh,” “Kon Nafsak,” “Lel Ya Lel,” “Yabn El Eh,” and “Sad in Pali.”
Embracing Her Roots
Elyanna, with a following of 1.2 million on Instagram, expressed her hopes for the album to bring listeners closer to their identity and evoke the same emotions it stirs in her. She emphasized the pride she feels as an Arab woman, hailing from Nazareth and the Middle East, stating that this album is a true reflection of her origins.
In a unique move, Elyanna’s grandfather is the only feature on her album, highlighting the personal and intimate nature of her music.
Celebrating Heritage Through Music
In a promotional video shared on her Instagram, Elyanna is seen planting an olive tree, symbolizing her journey of self-discovery alongside the release of “Woledto.” The video showcases her reciting a poignant poem penned by her mother, adding depth to the emotional narrative of the album.

Elyanna, based in Los Angeles, has been instrumental in bridging Arabic and Western music, drawing inspiration from artists like Lana Del Ray, Beyonce, and Middle Eastern icon Fayrouz. Her unique sound resonates with her multicultural upbringing.
Notably, in 2023, Elyanna made history as the first artist to perform a full Arabic set at the prestigious Coachella music festival in California.
