Paris-based Ashi Studio unveils “Sculpted Clouds” at Paris Haute Couture Week

Step into the ethereal world of Ashi Studio as the Paris-based label, founded by Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi, showcased its Fall/Winter 2024-25 Collection at the prestigious Paris Haute Couture Week.

An other-worldly atmosphere

Guests were transported from the scorching summer heat into a darkened room with booming sounds, creating an other-worldly atmosphere. The catwalk wrapped around the small, intimate space, immersing the audience in Ashi Studio’s avant-garde designs that merge the theatrical with elements of nature.

Nature-inspired designs

From dark to light to dark again, the billowing yet structured garments playfully juxtaposed different styles and textures, producing a dazzling array of silhouettes that effortlessly transition between the hard and the soft, the feminine and the masculine.

The collection heavily draws inspiration from nature, with models sporting slick-back buns and minimal makeup as a clean canvas to complement the dramatic designs.

Ashi’s creative vision

Ashi describes his collection as a manifestation of pure emotions, translating the human experience. He envisions a world where courage, determination, grace, and protection intertwine, with his muse being a woman in constant search, embracing her fate.

Ashi made history as the first couturier from the region to join the Federation de la Haute Couture in Paris as a guest member in 2023. He is also set to unveil uniform design concepts for the highly-anticipated Riyadh Air launch.

Ashi’s designs have graced celebrities like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Hudson, Kylie Minogue, Penelope Cruz, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, and Queen Rania of Jordan.
