Flydubai in Talks for Largest-Ever Airplane Order
In an exclusive interview at the Farnborough Air Show, CEO Chief Executive Ghaith Al-Ghaith revealed that government-owned airline flydubai is currently in discussions with industry giants Boeing and Airbus for what could potentially be its biggest airplane order yet.
Al-Ghaith hinted at the magnitude of the upcoming order by stating, “The last order we did was 175 and this (next one) is going to be the biggest, I’m sure.” It’s worth noting that flydubai made headlines in 2017 with the announcement of the purchase of 175 Boeing 737 MAX airplanes.
