Riyadh Designer Nouf Al-Rashed Showcases Narma Label’s Inaugural Collection in London
Saudi designer Nouf Al-Rashed’s label, Narma, recently debuted its first collection, Agal, in London. The collection draws inspiration from the rich heritage of the Middle East, with a focus on the black cord of the agal, a symbol of honor and identity in Arab men’s clothing.
Empowering Women Through Inclusive Fashion
Al-Rashed’s womenswear line aims to empower women with luxurious and beautifully crafted designs that are deeply connected to meaningful narratives. The Agal collection moves away from traditional gendered pieces, making it inclusive and accessible to all.
Sustainability and Ethical Production
Al-Rashed is committed to sustainability, using eco-certified fabrics and upcycling dead stock materials to minimize waste. The brand follows fair labor practices and embraces a slow-fashion approach, releasing limited editions to avoid overproduction.
Bringing the Agal Collection to the Kingdom
While the Agal collection made its debut in London, Al-Rashed plans to showcase it in the Kingdom before the end of the year. The collection, deeply rooted in Middle Eastern culture, will soon be brought back to Riyadh, the city that inspired Narma’s creative journey.
“We hope to evoke in all audiences the same sense of playfulness, curiosity, imagination, and lightness that we felt while bringing this collection to life.”
