Makkah Region Launches “No Hajj Without a Permit” Campaign to Ensure Safety During Pilgrimage

In an effort to prevent overcrowding and other issues during the upcoming pilgrimage, the Makkah region has initiated a “No Hajj Without a Permit” campaign, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.

The campaign was officially launched in the presence of various royals and officials, with Prince Saud bin Mishaal, deputy governor of Makkah and vice chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, issuing a warning against those who fail to comply with the regulations.

This permit initiative is part of the larger “Hajj is Worship and Civilized Behavior” campaign, spearheaded by Prince Khalid bin Faisal, advisor to King Salman and governor of Makkah.

Prince Saud emphasized the importance of following the law to ensure a safe and orderly Hajj experience for all pilgrims.

Collaboration is underway with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, along with other government entities, to effectively enforce the regulations set in place.
