Exclusive Partnership: King Khalid Foundation and TATA Join Forces for Sustainable Digital Innovation

King Khalid Foundation Partners with TATA Consultancy Services to Foster Sustainable Digital Practices

In a groundbreaking move, the King Khalid Foundation has joined forces with TATA Consultancy Services to propel sustainable digital initiatives among university students in Saudi Arabia.

Dubbed as “Sustainathon,” this innovative program is geared towards empowering students to craft projects that contribute to this pivotal area of development, as per a statement unveiled by the foundation on Monday.

Over a span of three months, the King Khalid Foundation and TCS will conduct virtual seminars to guide and support participants of the “Sustainathon” in refining their propositions.

Upon completion of the program, students will showcase their ideas to a distinguished panel of judges, with prizes awaiting those whose projects align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and demonstrate practical applications.

The momentous agreement was sealed in a signing ceremony graced by the presence of Princess Nouf bint Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Saud, CEO of the King Khalid Foundation, and Sumanta Roy, President and Regional Director for the Middle East and Africa at TATA Consultancy Services.

The collaboration between the King Khalid Foundation and TCS is set to foster synergy among entities in the private and non-profit sectors by fostering knowledge exchange and expertise sharing.

Established in 2001 as a standalone national non-profit organization, the King Khalid Foundation envisions a thriving society founded on principles of equality and sustainability.
