Saudi Railways Celebrates Success of Mashaer Train Operation During Hajj Season

In a remarkable achievement, Saudi Railways lauded the outstanding performance of the Mashaer Train operation during this year’s Hajj season. The metro service efficiently transported over 2.2 million passengers across nine stations in Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina, completing a total of 2,206 trips.

On the first day of the pilgrimage, more than 29,000 worshippers were ferried, with an impressive 292,000 pilgrims transported from Mina to Arafat, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

The Mashaer Train continued its exceptional service by transporting over 305,000 individuals from Arafat to Muzdalifah during the pilgrimage, followed by more than 383,000 worshippers from Muzdalifah to Mina.

In the days of Tashreeq, the train facilitated the journey of over 1.2 million pilgrims from stations Mina 1, Mina 2, and Muzdalifah 3 to Mina 3 station (Jamarat), providing convenient access to the Jamarat Bridge.

CEO of SAR, Bashar Al-Malik, expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support of the Saudi leadership, which played a pivotal role in the success of the operating plan.
