Headline: Safari Users Beware: Scroll Issue Detected in Embed Code

In a recent development, two specific issues, numbered #3587 and #3840, have been identified in the embed code for Safari users.

Upon detection of a desktop Safari user, a timeout function is triggered after 600 milliseconds, adjusting the CSS overflow property of the element to ‘scroll’. This aims to rectify the scroll functionality for Safari users.

Furthermore, a window resize event listener is implemented to ensure the height of the element matches that of the window. For desktop Safari users, an additional check is made to toggle the overflow property between ‘scroll’ and ‘hidden’ based on the container’s CSS attributes.

To address the issue, a closeStory function is defined to handle the removal of the selected embed upon user interaction. The function ensures a smooth transition by animating the element back to its original size and position before removing the iframe and close button.

Lastly, jQuery is utilized to update the data attribute of embed buttons and bind a click event to trigger the loadStory function.

Stay informed as updates are provided to resolve these Safari-specific issues in the embed code.
