Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Affairs meets with Swedish Ambassadors
In a high-level diplomatic gathering, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Affairs, Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir, met with Swedish ambassadors to the Middle East and North Africa region on Thursday. The meeting took place at the foreign ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh and was led by the Swedish Ambassador to the Kingdom, Petra Menander.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening and advancing joint cooperation between the two kingdoms, as well as highlighting Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to uphold regional security and stability. The envoys also delved into the latest developments in Gaza and its neighboring areas, emphasizing the importance of halting military escalations and ensuring the safe delivery of essential humanitarian and medical aid.
Additionally, the participants exchanged insights on a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern, underscoring the significance of collaboration and dialogue in addressing shared challenges.
The meeting coincided with the visit of over 30 Swedish government officials to Riyadh for the country’s annual gathering of regional ambassadors, further underscoring the importance of diplomatic engagement and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Sweden.
