Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites Launches “Makkah Greets Us” Event
In a grand display of festivities, the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites kicked off the entertainment activities for the second installment of the “Makkah Greets Us” event on the second day of Eid Al-Fitr. The atmosphere was electric as visitors flocked to the Hira Cultural District, where the event will be held until April 15.
Partnering with the Pilgrim Experience Program, the Holy Makkah Municipality, the Makkah Chamber of Commerce, Kidana Development Co., and Al-Balad Al-Ameen Co., the event promises a blend of entertainment and cultural experiences for all attendees.
One of the main attractions is the Revelation Exhibition, a captivating showcase that delves into the story of revelation and the descent of the Holy Qur’an. Additionally, visitors can immerse themselves in the history of pilgrimage routes with the Road to Makkah exhibition. The event also boasts folk art performances, including poetic dueling, Taasheer, and the lively Al-Majrour folk dance.
