Saudi-Egyptian Collaboration Key to Regional Stability, Says Foreign Minister
In a press conference held in Cairo, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan emphasized the importance of Saudi-Egyptian cooperation in maintaining stability in the region and globally.
During a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Prince Faisal reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening ties with Egypt, expressing anticipation for the launch of the Saudi-Egyptian Coordination Council in the near future.
Prince Faisal commended Egypt’s efforts to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza and condemned Israel’s obstruction of aid as a war crime, calling for the implementation of international law.
The foreign minister emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire in Gaza, criticizing the international security system for its failure to address the ongoing crisis.
Addressing the conflict in Sudan, Prince Faisal underscored the necessity of increasing efforts to resolve the prolonged war in the region.
In discussions with Abdelatty, Prince Faisal focused on enhancing collaboration on both regional and international issues, with a particular emphasis on the situation in the Gaza Strip.
