Gifted Students Thrive in Mawhiba’s Summer Program – Enroll Now!

Riyadh: Mawhiba Launches 2024 Summer Enrichment Initiatives

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, known as “Mawhiba,” has kicked off its 2024 summer enrichment initiatives, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Programs Galore

Mawhiba’s summer offerings include the Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program, the Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program, the Mawhiba Universal Enrichment Program, and the Mawhiba Ambassadors Program. The programs will take place in 16 cities and consist of more than 100 sessions.

Students from Near and Far

A total of 13,000 students are participating in the programs, with 450 students coming from Arab countries such as Syria, Jordan, Palestine, the UAE, and more.

Scientific Enrichment

The programs provide intensive scientific enrichment in various fields, offering students the opportunity to develop both scientific and personal skills through activities and field trips.

Global Reach

The academic enrichment program has 12,219 students in 68 programs across 16 cities, while the universal enrichment program and research enrichment program have 480 and 485 students respectively. The ambassadors program is held in the US, Great Britain, and Ireland, with 128 students participating in 24 programs.

Advancing Knowledge and Skills

According to Amal Al-Hazzaa, the secretary-general of Mawhiba, the programs aim to enhance students’ abilities and skills through tailored support and training by international experts in gifted education.

Expanding Horizons

Khaled Al-Sharif, director-general of Mawhiba’s Center of Excellence, highlighted the programs’ focus on expanding students’ mental and cognitive horizons, helping them identify their scientific interests, and developing their personal and social skills.

Stimulating Environment

The programs provide a stimulating scientific environment where students can interact with peers, engage in supervised activities, and make the most of their summer vacation while gaining expertise in various research fields.
