Saudi Minister Honors Individuals with Down Syndrome on World Down Syndrome Day
In a heartwarming ceremony, Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, also the chairman of the Authority of People with Disability, paid tribute to three individuals with Down syndrome.
The event took place on March 21, celebrated globally as World Down Syndrome Day.
Al-Rajhi highlighted the unwavering support of the leadership in providing care and empowerment to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their rights are protected, and fostering collaborations with community organizations to introduce innovative initiatives and projects.
He commended the remarkable achievements of those with Down syndrome and their determination to contribute positively to society, while also expressing deep appreciation for the dedication and support of their families.
