Hajj Pilgrims Flock to Saudi Arabia – Global Arrival Begins!

Riyadh Welcomes First Groups of Pilgrims Ahead of 2024 Hajj

As the anticipation for this year’s Hajj builds up, the first groups of pilgrims from various countries have started arriving in Saudi Arabia. Among them were 283 pilgrims from India, who were warmly received at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah. The Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, along with the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Abdel Fattah bin Sulaiman Mashat, were there to welcome the pilgrims.

Al-Jasser mentioned that a total of 7,700 flights carrying Hajj pilgrims are expected to arrive at six airports this year. Saudi authorities are dedicated to providing top-notch services to the pilgrims during their stay in the Kingdom. With over 27,000 buses and high-speed trains like Al-Haramain and Al-Mashaer completing thousands of journeys, the infrastructure is all set to cater to the needs of the pilgrims.

Indian Pilgrims Gear Up for a Fulfilling Hajj Experience

The Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Suhel Ajaz Khan, expressed his excitement and readiness to welcome Indian pilgrims for Hajj 2024. He highlighted the efforts put in by the Indian mission in Saudi Arabia to ensure a smooth and fulfilling experience for the pilgrims. With the introduction of a new smart app, Haj Suvidha, the process of Hajj application for Indian citizens has been simplified.

Bangladesh Pilgrims Land in Jeddah for Hajj

The first Hajj flight from Bangladesh carrying 415 pilgrims landed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The country’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Javed Patwary, expressed his happiness in serving the pilgrims from Bangladesh. He commended the Makkah Route Initiative for providing smooth services to the pilgrims, making their journey comfortable and hassle-free.

Malaysian Pilgrims Arrive in Madinah for Hajj

The first batch of Hajj pilgrims from Malaysia arrived in Madinah, marking the start of their sacred journey. The Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, praised the Makkah Route service for its pre-clearance arrangement that has greatly benefited Malaysian pilgrims. With 31,600 pilgrims set to benefit from the initiative this year, Malaysia is prepared to expand the service for Umrah pilgrims as well.

Pakistani Pilgrims Welcomed in Madinah for Hajj

Pakistani pilgrims also arrived in Madinah, where they were greeted by the Pakistani ambassador to the Kingdom and senior Saudi officials. With over 2,100 pilgrims expected to arrive on the first day and a total of 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims expected to perform Hajj this year, preparations have been made to accommodate their needs and provide necessary services, including medical assistance.

South African Pilgrims Kick Off Hajj Journey in Jeddah

The first batch of pilgrims from South Africa arrived in Jeddah, marking the beginning of their Hajj pilgrimage. With the official start date of Hajj expected to be around June 14 and concluding on June 19, pilgrims from around the world are gearing up for this sacred journey.
