Saudi aid group KSrelief continues humanitarian efforts in Yemen, Chad, and Somalia
In a display of unwavering commitment to helping those in need, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is making a difference in Yemen, Chad, and Somalia.
Yemen
1,039 families in Al-Dhale Governorate received a lifeline in the form of 1,039 food boxes courtesy of KSrelief, as reported by state news agency SPA.
Chad
600 food parcels were distributed in the Guera Region this year as part of KSrelief’s Food Security Support Project, providing much-needed assistance to those facing food insecurity.
Somalia
KSrelief’s impact in Somalia is palpable with the inauguration of key health and environmental projects. The National Blood Bank, a groundbreaking initiative in Mogadishu, will supply 32 health facilities with blood of all types. Additionally, the kidney dialysis center in Mogadishu was officially opened, along with the construction of an artesian well and a water desalination plant.
With a track record of 3,105 humanitarian and relief projects across 104 countries, totaling over $7 billion, KSrelief is a beacon of hope for those in crisis.
Recognized as a key donor to UN organizations dedicated to humanitarian efforts, the Kingdom’s partnerships with UN agencies have resulted in the implementation of 345 projects valued at $2.854 billion. These projects cover essential sectors such as health, nutrition, education, food security, agriculture, water, sanitation, and environmental health.
