French luxury brand Jean Paul Gaultier appoints Ameni Esseibi as first-ever regional fragrance ambassador

In a groundbreaking move, French luxury brand Jean Paul Gaultier has named Tunisian model Ameni Esseibi as the first-ever regional ambassador for its fragrance line. Esseibi, renowned as the first plus-size model in the Middle East, starred in the campaign images for the brand’s iconic Scandal perfume, showcasing various ensembles that exuded style and elegance.

Among the outfits featured in the campaign were a stunning form-fitting blue dress with pink floral designs, a jumpsuit in vibrant geometric prints of yellow, orange, purple, and pink, a black gown, and a sheer beige and gold top layered over a simple black base.

Esseibi expressed her deep connection to the Jean Paul Gaultier brand, stating, “Jean Paul Gaultier is more than just a brand to me. It feels like family. Its identity embodies everything I stand for: Rebellion, strength, boldness, fearlessness, sensuality, and a touch of scandal.” She also shared her honor at being the brand’s first Arab ambassador in the region, emphasizing the enduring impact the brand has had on her life and career.

Esseibi made her international debut in September 2022 at Paris Fashion Week, walking for French label Victor Weinsanto. Since then, she has collaborated with renowned brands like H&M and has been featured in various publications, solidifying her status as a rising star in the fashion industry.
