Royal Reception: King Hamad Welcomes Saudi Shoura Council Speaker
In a regal meeting at Al-Safriya Palace in Manama, Bahrain’s King Hamad graciously hosted Saudi Shoura Council Speaker Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh on Thursday.
Amidst the opulent surroundings, the king lauded the enduring bond between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, highlighting the exemplary level of cooperation and coordination that has been achieved across all sectors to advance the shared interests and ambitions of both nations, as reported by Saudi Press Agency.
King Hamad also took a moment to express his gratitude for the tireless efforts of King Salman in fortifying the historic ties between the two kingdoms.
Recognizing the pivotal role played by Saudi Arabia’s Shoura Council and Bahrain’s Council of Representatives and Shoura Council, the king praised their contributions in strengthening relations and promoting development within the two countries.
Furthermore, King Hamad warmly welcomed the recent signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Bahraini Council of Representatives and the Saudi Shoura Council. This agreement aims to enhance and solidify cooperation frameworks, facilitate the exchange of expertise and experiences at the legislative and parliamentary levels, and ensure alignment on various regional and international parliamentary issues.
