King Salman Allocates Over $800 Million in Ramadan Assistance
In a remarkable display of generosity, King Salman of Saudi Arabia has directed the allocation of more than SR3 billion ($800 million) in Ramadan assistance to social security recipients, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Sunday.
Under this initiative, heads of families will receive SR1,000 while each dependent will be granted SR500.
The funds will be seamlessly transferred directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, according to the SPA.
Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, commended the king for his benevolent gesture in supporting citizens with their essential needs during the sacred month of Ramadan.
