KSrelief boosts aid efforts in Jordan, Pakistan, and Indonesia!

Saudi Aid Agency KSrelief Initiates 25th Volunteer Program at Zaatari Refugee Camp

In a heartwarming display of humanitarian efforts, the Saudi aid agency KSrelief has launched its 25th volunteer program at the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. A team of 29 volunteers specializing in medical, psychological, social, and educational fields has been deployed to directly assist the Syrian refugees residing in the camp, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday.

Expanding their initiatives, the program now includes projects to train football coaches in the area, providing opportunities for skill development and community engagement.

The volunteers are offering a diverse range of courses at the camp, covering topics such as tablet and mobile phone maintenance, sewing and embroidery, pottery and ceramics, carpentry, wheelchair maintenance and repair, as well as psychological therapy and counseling sessions. These efforts aim to empower the residents and enhance their quality of life amidst challenging circumstances, according to the SPA.

KSrelief Extends Aid to Flood-Affected Communities in Pakistan

Meanwhile, in Pakistan, KSrelief has stepped in to provide assistance to individuals impacted by floods in the Jarsadh and Lower Chitral districts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The agency distributed 733 shelter bags as part of the third phase of its project, which focuses on delivering essential shelter materials to those in need.

The aid reaches a total of 5,131 individuals from vulnerable communities, offering crucial support during times of crisis and helping rebuild lives in the aftermath of natural disasters.

KSrelief Launches Volunteer Training Project for Advanced First Aid in Indonesia

In a separate initiative, KSrelief has kicked off a volunteer training project for advanced first aid in Jakarta, Indonesia. The project, scheduled to run until May 3, involves eight volunteers with diverse specializations coming together to enhance emergency response capabilities in the region.

Since the project’s inception, the dedicated volunteer team has successfully trained 50 individuals in advanced first aid, equipping them with life-saving skills and knowledge to address medical emergencies effectively.
