KSrelief delivers record-breaking 12M+ liters of water to Yemen!

Riyadh’s KSrelief Continues to Make a Difference in Yemen

In an ongoing effort to improve living conditions in Yemen, Saudi aid agency KSrelief has been working tirelessly on a water supply and environmental sanitation project.

Providing Essential Resources

From June 19-25, over 1 million liters of drinking water and more than 10 million liters of non-drinking water were distributed in Hajjah. The project team focused on areas such as Midi, Haradh, Hayran, and Abs districts, along with the As-Ashour camp in the Razih region of Saada.

A total of 38 waste removal trips were made to displaced people’s camps, benefiting 30,100 individuals in Saada with 70,000 liters each of drinking and non-drinking water.

Medical Initiatives in Yemen and Sudan

KSrelief also launched a volunteer medical project in Mukalla, Hadhramaut province, focusing on ear, nose, and throat surgeries and tumor removal. The initiative, involving 22 medical volunteers, has successfully performed 60 specialized surgeries.

In Port Sudan, Sudan, KSrelief wrapped up a urological surgeries project with 11 volunteers completing 119 successful specialized surgeries over the course of a week.
