Montenegro Receives 250 Food Baskets from KSrelief
Bijelo Polje town in Montenegro was the recipient of 250 food baskets from KSrelief, benefiting 1,250 individuals as part of the Ramadan food basket project Etaam. The organization plans to distribute a total of 8,700 food parcels to those in need in Montenegro.
KSrelief Extends Helping Hand to Bangladesh, South Africa, Indonesia, and Benin
In Bangladesh, 1,000 food baskets were distributed to the neediest families in the Kishoreganj region, aiding 5,000 people. Additionally, 400 parcels were handed out in Bloemfontein, the capital of South Africa.
In Indonesia’s West Java province, 2,768 individuals benefited from 717 KSrelief packages, while 600 parcels were sent to 6,300 people in Cotonou, the capital of Littoral in Benin.
KSrelief Reaches Out to Ghana
The organization provided 500 parcels to Ghana, assisting 3,000 individuals in the Old Tafo Kumasi district. The project aims to deliver 5,300 food packages across five cities in Ghana, supporting 31,800 of the country’s most vulnerable citizens.
Saudi Arabia’s Relief Efforts Through Etaam Project
The Etaam project is a crucial part of the relief and humanitarian aid initiatives offered by Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Ministry of Interior emphasized that KSrelief is the sole authorized organization to receive donations and distribute them to those in need globally.
The Kingdom’s donation campaigns follow strict procedures to ensure that aid reaches the intended recipients. Any attempts to collect donations through unauthorized means will result in legal action. The public is encouraged to report any suspected violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the eastern regions, or 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
Impact of KSrelief’s Global Initiatives
Since 2015, KSrelief has implemented 2,670 projects valued at over $6.5 billion in 95 countries, collaborating with 175 local, regional, and international partners. The majority of the support has been directed towards Yemen ($4.3 billion), Syria ($391 million), Palestine ($370 million), and Somalia ($227 million).
