KSrelief partners with Majmaah University for groundbreaking collaboration

Saudi Humanitarian Aid Agency KSrelief Partners with Majmaah University

In a groundbreaking move, the Saudi humanitarian aid agency KSrelief has officially signed a partnership agreement with Majmaah University to collaborate on various initiatives.

The agreement was formalized at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh, with Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi, assistant supervisor general director for planning and development at KSrelief, and Dr. Mosallam Al-Dosari, vice-rector for development and investment, signing on behalf of their respective organizations.

The primary objective of this partnership is to enhance cooperation in humanitarian research and facilitate joint participation in conferences, workshops, meetings, exhibitions, and other events related to the humanitarian field. Additionally, both parties are considering the possibility of hosting a workshop on humanitarian research and studies during the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, a biennial event organized by KSrelief.

Furthermore, the memorandum aims to strengthen collaboration in volunteering efforts by utilizing the university’s skilled workforce, expertise, and CIFAL center – a training facility affiliated with the United Nations that educates government officials and community leaders on sustainable development and UN goals.

This partnership will also facilitate the exchange of consultancy services on relief and humanitarian work, enabling both entities to leverage each other’s experiences and benefit from capacity-building programs offered by the university’s CIFAL center.

The agreement aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasizes the importance of collaboration among various national stakeholders and the advancement of humanitarian initiatives within the Kingdom.
