Saudi Aid Agency KSrelief Concludes Volunteer Program in Al-Zaatari Camp for Syrian Refugees

In a heartwarming display of generosity and compassion, Saudi aid agency KSrelief has successfully wrapped up its 26th volunteer program in Al-Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan. The program, as reported by Saudi Press Agency, provided crucial health services in various fields, including optometry, dermatology, and physical therapy, reaching out to a total of 669 individuals in need.

Empowering Communities Through Education and Counseling

But the assistance didn’t stop there. In addition to the much-needed medical services, the program also offered a range of educational courses covering subjects like English, chemistry, and sewing, empowering the refugees with valuable skills and knowledge for a brighter future. An awareness course on addiction, suicide prevention, and counseling sessions, both individual and group, further supported 297 individuals in their journey towards healing and recovery.

Exploring New Horizons: Humanitarian Aid Project in Azerbaijan

In a bid to extend its reach and impact even further, KSrelief has set its sights on Azerbaijan for a potential humanitarian aid project. Working closely with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Health, the aid agency conducted an assessment to determine the feasibility of implementing volunteer medical projects in the country. The evaluation focused on assessing the readiness of hospitals and health centers, as well as identifying the necessary medical specialties needed to support such initiatives.
