Riyadh: KSrelief Making a Difference in Sudan, Yemen, and Greece
Amidst ongoing humanitarian crises in various parts of the world, the Kingdom’s aid agency KSrelief is taking action to provide assistance where it is needed most.
Medical Volunteer Project in Sudan
KSrelief recently implemented a medical volunteer project in Sudan focused on neurosurgery and spine surgery. From May 12 to May 17, 15 volunteer specialists from different medical fields came together to perform a total of 26 surgeries, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
Relief Efforts in Yemen
In Yemen, KSrelief has been active in delivering crucial aid to those in need. A convoy of 330 relief trucks was dispatched, carrying over 5,752 tonnes of essential supplies to communities in 14 different Yemeni governorates. The aid included food, medical supplies, and materials for shelter, providing much-needed relief to those affected by the ongoing crisis.
Support for Greece
Not limiting its efforts to just Sudan and Yemen, KSrelief also extended a helping hand to Greece. The agency donated 10 tonnes of dates, which were presented by Saudi Ambassador to Greece Saad Al-Ammar in Athens. This gesture of support showcases KSrelief’s commitment to providing assistance to those in need, no matter where they are located.
