Saudi Aid Agency KSrelief Provides Food and Shelter Aid in Yemen and Sudan

In a display of generosity and compassion, the Saudi aid agency KSrelief has stepped up to distribute essential food and shelter aid to thousands of individuals in Yemen and Sudan, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.

Yemen: A Lifeline of Support

In Yemen, KSrelief delivered 6,000 cartons of dates to the most vulnerable families in the governorates of Aden and Marib, offering sustenance to a total of 36,000 individuals. Additionally, the agency provided food baskets to 682 of the neediest families in the Lahij governorate, reaching 4,774 individuals with crucial assistance.

Sudan: Extending a Helping Hand

Turning their attention to Sudan, KSrelief distributed 148 shelter bags to displaced families in Khartoum State, benefiting 851 individuals. Furthermore, the agency provided 530 food baskets to displaced families in the Blue Nile State, offering vital support to 1,795 individuals in need.

A Legacy of Support and Solidarity

Since 2015, KSrelief has initiated 2,670 projects totaling over $6.5 billion in 95 countries, in collaboration with 175 local, regional, and international partners. The bulk of this aid has been dedicated to countries like Yemen, Syria, Palestine, and Somalia, with significant contributions made towards food security, health, shelter, education, and more.
