KSrelief Continues to Provide Healthcare to Displaced Persons in Yemen, Jordan, and Iraq

In a commendable effort to support those in need, the Kingdom’s aid agency, KSrelief, has been tirelessly offering crucial healthcare services to displaced persons in Yemen, Jordan, and Iraq.

Mobile Medical Clinics in Yemen

In the Wallan camp of the Hajjah governorate in Yemen, KSrelief’s mobile medical clinics have been a beacon of hope for 444 Yemenis in need. The clinics provide a range of services including emergency care, disease control, internal medicine, reproductive health, nursing, surgery, and dressing services.

Vital Medical Services in Jordan

Meanwhile, in Jordan, KSrelief has been providing vital medical services to 2,301 patients in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in just one week. The impact of these services on the lives of those in need cannot be overstated.

Medical Supplies for Iraq

Additionally, the Saudi aid agency has delivered 15 tonnes of medical supplies to the Ministry of Health in Iraq. This support will enable the Ministry to provide essential health services to citizens, displaced persons, and refugees in the country.

The aid was handed over to Dr. Saman Al-Barzanji, the minister of health in the Kurdistan Region, in preparation for distribution to hospitals and health facilities in the region.

Significant Impact of KSrelief

Since its inception in May 2015, KSrelief has successfully implemented 3,041 projects valued at nearly $7 billion in 102 countries. This has been made possible through collaboration with 448 local, regional, and international partners, demonstrating the agency’s commitment to making a real difference in the lives of those in need.
