Saudi Medical Volunteers Perform Life-Saving Surgeries in Yemen

In a heartwarming display of generosity and compassion, volunteer medical staffers from Saudi Arabia’s aid agency KSrelief have been conducting cardiac surgeries and catheterization procedures for both children and adults at Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden, Yemen.

This noble project kicked off on May 4 and is scheduled to wrap up on May 15, with a dedicated team of 25 volunteers collaborating with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen.

During their time at the hospital, these selfless medical workers have successfully carried out a total of 166 catheterization procedures and 25 open-heart operations, providing critical care and saving lives in the process.

This vital assistance is just one of the many initiatives undertaken by KSrelief as part of their commitment to global relief and humanitarian efforts, showcasing the power of solidarity and kindness in times of need.
