Maximize Earnings with Saudi HR Ministry’s Seasonal Work Opportunity during Hajj

Riyadh Ministry Pushes for Seasonal Work During Hajj Season

In a bid to boost seasonal work opportunities during the Hajj season, the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is actively promoting its Ajeer Al-Hajj and Seasonal Permits services. This initiative aims to facilitate temporary employment for Saudis and residents, as well as streamline the process for facilities to issue work permits through the Bab Ajeer platform.

The Ajeer Al-Hajj service serves multiple purposes, including enhancing workforce flexibility, improving market competency, and reducing reliance on foreign labor. It provides a convenient electronic platform for both facilities and individuals to access, with a total of 924 facilities already benefiting from the service and 11,715 permits issued.

Meanwhile, the seasonal permits service targets facilities operating during the Hajj season, ensuring they have the necessary workforce to cater to pilgrims. Under simplified terms, the ministry has issued a total of 42,853 seasonal work permits across various professions and fields.

To maintain accountability, the ministry’s oversight committees conduct regular follow-ups to ensure facilities comply with seasonal work permit regulations. This includes monitoring operations in Makkah and the holy sites, as well as ensuring adherence to all regulations and instructions.
