Ahmad Alshubbar: The Financial Guru of Rawabi Holding Group
Meet Ahmad Alshubbar, the brilliant mind behind the financial operations at Rawabi Holding Group, a powerhouse conglomerate based in Alkhobar.
As the Chief Financial Officer, Alshubbar wears many hats within the organization. He sits on the Rawabi Holding Board Investment Committee, the executive committee of Rawabi Electric, and the board of Rawabi Energy Co., Human Resources Business Support Co., and Equatoriale Energy in Singapore.
Alshubbar’s expertise is invaluable as he provides financial guidance to the top leadership of the group’s core operating entities. He collaborates with the C-suite to shape the future of equity capital market and debt capital market transactions.
His journey at Rawabi Holding Group began in 2019 when he joined as the Vice President of Treasury and Strategy. In this role, he played a key role in driving organic and inorganic growth initiatives and implementing global best practices in corporate finance.
Prior to his time at Rawabi Holding Group, Alshubbar served as the Vice President of Debt Capital Markets at Gulf International Bank Capital in 2017. Here, he specialized in debt origination, structuring, and distribution expertise.
Alshubbar’s career highlights also include a senior executive manager position at Banque Saudi Fransi’s corporate banking division, where he catered to high-tier corporate clients in the Eastern Province.
His portfolio spans across various economic sectors such as civil and industrial construction, real estate investment, diversified conglomerates, oil and gas services, and marine services companies.
With a solid foundation, Alshubbar began his career in 2006 as a Coop Trainee at Arab National Bank. He later went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2007.
In 2017, Alshubbar obtained a certification in CME-1 from the Capital Market Authority, further solidifying his expertise in the financial realm.
