Dr. Nasser Al-Nassri took the reins as the executive director of the project management office and shared services at Red Sea Global in 2021, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise.

From Construction to Aviation: A Journey of Diverse Expertise

Starting his career in construction, Al-Nassri honed his skills with contractor companies in Saudi Arabia before delving into the aviation sector. His specialization in design and project management for airport construction projects led him to play a pivotal role in the development of the new King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

Al-Nassri’s industry knowledge was further enriched during his time at London Heathrow, where he gained valuable insights before returning to Saudi Arabia to make significant contributions to the engineering sector at the General Authority of Civil Aviation.

Leading Projects in Entertainment, Events, and Sports

Beyond aviation, Al-Nassri has also left his mark in the entertainment, events, and sports industries. Co-founding Raibal Creation and Management, he managed various sport and entertainment projects that contributed to the early stages of the General Entertainment Authority’s initiatives.

Driving Sustainable Tourism at Red Sea Global

Joining Red Sea Global in 2019, Al-Nassri initially served as a project manager, overseeing a range of projects, including Desert Rock, Village Housing, Heliport, and Shura Island. His diverse expertise and academic background have positioned him as a key player in managing complex projects and spearheading PMO initiatives across multiple sectors.

Academic Achievements and Recognitions

Al-Nassri’s educational journey is equally impressive, with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from King Abdulaziz University, a master’s degree in construction management from Northumbria University in the UK, and a Ph.D. in airport construction project management from the same institution. His postgraduate studies at Northumbria University also earned him prestigious accolades, including The APM Geoffrey Trimble award, the Association of Project Management UK Regional award, and the MSc Project of the Year award.
