The alliance signifies a significant leap towards promoting sustainable falconry by preserving both cultural heritage and the environment, harmonizing ancient traditions with modern conservation practices. The Hadad program’s primary focus is on rejuvenating the peregrine falcons’ habitat within the NEOM reserve and implementing effective environmental strategies to ensure the species’ long-term sustainability.
This partnership underscores NEOM’s unwavering commitment to dedicating 95 percent of its land to nature conservation, establishing new international benchmarks for environmental preservation, and undertaking wildlife rehabilitation initiatives within its reserve. Furthermore, it highlights Saudi Arabia’s steadfast dedication to reinforcing its global leadership in sustainable development and environmental protection, aligning with the overarching goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
