New Direct Flights from Air Samarkand to Saudi Arabia! Experience Uzbekistan Like Never Before

Uzbekistan’s Air Samarkand Granted Approval to Launch Regular Flights to Saudi Arabia

In a move to enhance connectivity between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia, Air Samarkand has been given the green light to commence regular flights to the Kingdom. The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia authorized the company to start operations twice a week beginning on July 30, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Strengthening Economic Cooperation Models

The approval for Air Samarkand to operate flights to Saudi Arabia solidifies the economic cooperation between the two nations, reflecting a mutual commitment to prosperity and shared goals outlined in their respective 2030 plans.

Expanding Air Transport Network

This initiative is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to broaden its air transport network and transform the region into a global logistics hub. It also aligns with the Saudi Aviation Strategy, opening new opportunities for the sector and meeting the growing demand for travel between Saudi Arabia and other countries.

Recent Developments in Air Connectivity

In April, Saudi Arabia approved China Southern Airlines to operate flights between Riyadh and three cities in China. This move, along with the establishment of a new air route between Riyadh and Shanghai, demonstrates the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing air connectivity and growing its aviation sector. GACA’s mission is to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s GDP while becoming a leading, innovative, and trusted aviation regulator in the global arena.
