Pakistan lauds Saudi Arabia for smooth Hajj process

Pakistani Minister Praises Saudi Arabia for Exceptional Hajj Services

In a statement delivered in Madinah, Pakistani Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain expressed his gratitude towards Saudi Arabia for the outstanding services and facilities provided to Pakistani pilgrims participating in this year’s Hajj.

Minister Hussain, currently in Madinah to oversee Hajj arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims, commended the Saudi leadership for their efforts in ensuring a smooth pilgrimage experience.

With a Hajj quota of 179,210 pilgrims this year, Pakistan has seen over 20,000 pilgrims arrive in Madinah since the launch of pre-Hajj flight operations on May 9. Of these pilgrims, 63,805 will be under the government scheme while the rest will be with private tour operators during the June 14-19 Hajj period.

Of note, Minister Hussain praised the Makkah Route Initiative launched at Karachi International Airport, similar to the program already in place at Islamabad International Airport. He expressed confidence that this initiative would also be extended to Lahore Airport in the upcoming year.
