Prince Faisal’s groundbreaking move to revolutionize health care funding!

Riyadh: Al-Shifa Endowment Operations Launched in Makkah

In a grand ceremony attended by Deputy Makkah Gov. Prince Saud bin Mashaal bin Abdulaziz, Prince Faisal bin Salman inaugurated the Al-Shifa Endowment operations in Makkah. The event, hosted by Makkah Chamber of Commerce Chairman Abdullah Saleh Kamel, marked a significant milestone in extending health care coverage to residents across the Kingdom.

The Al-Shifa Health Endowment Fund, introduced last Ramadan in Madinah, aims to provide health care to individuals without access to free health care or insurance. The collaboration with the Ehsan platform has already garnered over SR37 million ($10 million) in donations from generous contributors.

The Al-Shifa Endowment is at the forefront of pioneering new health programs and products to improve health care for beneficiaries. It utilizes Zakat funds, charity, and grants to alleviate patient suffering and encourages community involvement and social responsibility within private sector companies.

Dedicated to addressing the health care needs of beneficiaries in the holy cities, the Al-Shifa Endowment focuses on establishing and enhancing health institutions, providing counseling services, utilizing cooperative health insurance, and assisting in the establishment of the endowed Al-Salam Hospital in the central area to serve pilgrims. This initiative also supports health practitioners in delivering specialized services.

The ceremony, which included an open dialogue session with supporters and donor institutions, was attended by key officials such as Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Commerce Minister Majid Al-Qasabi, and other prominent figures in the community.
