Revolutionary Hajj Service Upgrade Unveiled!

Riyadh Launches Humanitarians Initiative to Enhance Pilgrim Experience

In a recent announcement, the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has unveiled the Humanitarians (Ensaniyoun) initiative as part of the 2024 Hajj season, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.

The primary goal of this initiative is to elevate the experience of pilgrims by putting a human touch on the services offered by the presidency. It specifically targets the care of the sick, elderly, and individuals with disabilities who are embarking on a journey to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, ensuring a conducive worship environment for them.

Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the head of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, emphasized the significance of the Humanitarians initiative, stating, “The initiative aims to improve behavior and personalize the services provided by the presidency across its various sectors and departments… making religious services easily accessible for pilgrims and ensuring a seamless experience.”

Furthermore, the initiative promotes expertise among staff members and leverages adaptable technology and digitalization to cater to the religious needs of pilgrims, Al-Sudais added.

Al-Sudais highlighted the importance of upholding humanitarian values amidst the extensive religious activities at the Two Holy Mosques and their global impact. He stated, “Maintaining a balance between institutional giving and global success stories is key. By prioritizing this equilibrium, we can excel in the rituals of Hajj and in serving pilgrims.”

The Humanitarians initiative is in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, aiming to enhance the religious and humanitarian services offered to pilgrims and aligning with the country’s long-term goals.
