Smart Robot Service Launched in Madinah to Assist Pilgrims
In a groundbreaking initiative, a smart robot service has been introduced in Madinah to aid pilgrims visiting the revered Prophet’s Mosque.
Positioned at the courtyard adjacent to the Prophet’s Mosque, this innovative project is a collaboration of the Ministry of Health branch in Madinah province.
According to a report by the Saudi Press Agency, the robot service is designed to “display and broadcast awareness and educational messages, as well as health advice in more than 96 languages from around the world.”
Apart from the robot service, dedicated volunteer and awareness teams from the city’s health authorities are tirelessly working to support pilgrims during the Hajj season. With a total of 220 male and female volunteers, over 12 teams are operating around the clock to ensure the well-being of pilgrims.
These volunteers are prepared to offer health and emergency services at key locations such as the Prophet’s Mosque, Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, Al-Haramain train station, and various mosques including Quba Mosque, Al-Khandaf, Sayyid Al-Shuhada, and Miqat Dhu Al-Hulaifah.
